We realize that entering a hospital. especially with a child, can be an emotionally trying time, and we hope to acquaint you with some of the policies and services you may find helpful.

We are here to help you. The Pediatric unit is dedicated to the care of the child and the family. Special emphasis is made on meeting the child's growth and developmental needs as well as his physical needs.

Facts about our Pediatric Unit:

• All of the patient rooms are Private rooms, all similarly furnished with your child in mind.
• Telephones are provided in all patient rooms at no extra charge.
• One complimentary guest tray is automatically sent to each pediatric patient's room.
• All area Pediatricians are able to serve Women & Children's Hospital.
• In Each pediatric room there is an adult sized bed.
• General pediatric surgeries are routinely performed.
• Our Pediatric Nursing Staff is highly trained in all areas of pediatric care.
• Our "Cinema" offers a special kid-space for viewing movies or playing Nintendo.
