
Women & Children’s Hospital Announces
New Assistant Chief Executive Officer
Lake Charles, La. (October 3, 2012) – Women & Children’s Hospital (WCH) recently announced that Assistant Administrator (AA), Tom Sledge has been appointed Assistant Chief Executive Officer (ACEO).
Originally from Texas, Sledge received his bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas and master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey.
Sledge holds 12 years of healthcare experience, including five years as a Managed Care Contract Coordinator at a Tyler, Tex. based health system and served for seven years as Director of Business Development at Longview Regional Medical Center in Texas before moving to Lake Charles in July 2011 to become the AA.

Bateman, been a great mentor for me, but the physicians and entire staff at WCH have been exceptional to work with from my first day here,” says Sledge.
Sledge and his wife, Cheri, have one daughter, Emma.
