Lake Charles, La. (February 7, 2012) – Women & Children’s Hospital (WCH) Hospital is proud to announce their employee and managers of the year for 2011 as Daphne Marti, Alyssa Neidigh and Gloria Jeanis.
Daphne Marti, Human Resources Coordinator, won Employee of the Year. She began working again WCH in June of 2010. She had previously worked here for 12 years and after taking a ten year hiatus; was ready to return to the work force. When asked why she chose to come back to WCH, Marti said “This hospital has always been a great place to work. Our employees all take a sense of ownership in our facility and work diligently to ensure that we provide the highest quality of service to our patients and community. “
Alyssa Neidigh, Director of Case Management and Social Services, and Gloria Jeanis, Director of Surgical Services won Manager of the Year for non-clinical and clinical services. They both started at WCH in 2009. When asked how she felt about winning Manager of the year, Neidigh said she is “very proud to be part of our team. I feel both humbled and honored to be chosen.” Jeanis, a director in the past at WCH, said “This is a very warm and caring facility when staff and management go the extra step to ensure the best care for the patients. The staff and management are very skillful in their specialties. I admire and respect the Administration for all it has done to grow and improve the hospital. The growth is phenomenal and I am very happy to be part of that growth.”
All three women were honored at the Women & Children’s Hospital’s Holiday Part this past December.
