Local urologist Eugene Hong, M.D. will discuss female urinary health
Lake Charles, La. (April 27, 2012) - Women & Children’s Hospital (WCH) will host their next free Healthy Woman event on Thursday, May 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lake Charles Country Club located at 3350 Country Club Road.
The topic for this month’s event is female urinary health featuring board-certified urologist, Eugene Hong, M.D. “Attendees will learn about the symptoms, causes and treatment options for kidney stones and bladder infections,” said Nadia Nazeer, Healthy Woman program coordinator. “These issues are common among women and it’s important for us to know how we can avoid these medical problems, or learn how to take care of ourselves if these conditions arise,” Nazeer added.
Women ages 25 and up are encouraged to attend. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the program begins at 5:45 p.m. Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be offered following the program.
