About Women & Children’s Hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana
Women & Children’s Hospital is an 88-bed, full-service acute care hospital that offers compassionate, quality healthcare for the entire family. Proudly serving residents of Southwest Louisiana since 1984, the hospital is the area’s preferred leader for women’s services and offers comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and medical and surgical care. Women & Children’s Hospital is a recognized Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence and has a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. More than 400 dedicated staff members and more than 100 affiliated physicians who offer medical services in 36 different specialties, are dedicated to keeping the community healthy.

Community Involvement
WCH is a huge supporter of numerous charities, educational and athletic programs. Annually, we contribute nearly $40,000 in sponsorships and donations to help strengthen our community. We also serve as a resource for community and health education through our physician led seminars, childbirth classes and events we host throughout the year.

WCH is committed to improving our services and amenities for our patients. Upcoming projects include renovations to our main entrance and front lobby areas expanding our radiology and laboratory departments to enable us to provide additional services.
